Eligibility
Refunds concern paid lab seats and Yard Fellowship clinic hours. Free Field Notes browsing is not a purchase. Informational prices on the site are not charges and cannot be refunded.
Timeframe for a full refund
If you cancel in writing more than 14 days before the first seated hour of the cohort, we refund 100% of that cohort’s lab fee. Fellowship clinic hours not yet used are refunded in full if unused at cancellation; hours already delivered are not.
Partial refunds
If you cancel 14 days or fewer before the first seated hour, we refund 50% of the lab fee to cover materials already issued and a held chair. After the first seated hour begins, the lab fee is no longer refundable, except where we cancel the cohort or the law of England and Wales requires otherwise.
Non-refundable items
Synthetic packs once downloaded, marked worksheets, and recorded office-hours (if a cohort uses them) are not returnable goods. We do not refund because you disagree with a tutor’s comments. We do not refund professional-body credit because we never sell that credit.
Refund process
Write to hello@identityyardgrid.digital with the invoice number, the seat holder’s name, and whether you are cancelling the lab, unused clinic hours, or both. We confirm in writing within five working days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are sent by the same method you paid (typically UK bank transfer) within 14 working days of our confirmation. We do not send cash or vouchers. Currency is pounds sterling unless the invoice said otherwise.
Cancellation by us
If we cancel a cohort, you receive a full refund of unused fees, or — if you choose — a transfer to a later cohort without extra charge. We are not liable for your travel or internal scheduling costs; rooms are remote.
Exceptions
If we materially fail to deliver the modules listed on the lab page, you may request a full or partial refund even after the first hour; we will discuss a fair split based on modules not taught. Consumer cooling-off rights, where they apply to you as an individual in the UK, are not displaced by the 14-day desk rule above to the extent the law is more generous. Firms buying seats as businesses should treat the 14-day / 50% schedule as the contract default.
